If you’re looking for a casual Thanksgiving outfit idea that still feels pulled together, I love skinny jeans paired with a striped sweater and classic coat.What I love most about this look are the multiple ways it can be styled. This plaid coat is by far one of my closet favorites. If you’re looking for a more simple Thanksgiving day outfit idea you can never go wrong with a black sweater and jeans. Both make for the perfect outfit to wear to Thanksgiving dinner this year.
We added the plaid coat to add a bit of flavor to the look, but as you can see in the look below, we also love it with a classic black or tan coat, too. If you are going for more casual outfits, you can also swap out the skinny jeans for leggings with sneakers or booties.

As we mentioned above, you can never go wrong with an all-black (or almost all-black)fall outfit. If you want to give an all-black look a bit more character this Thanksgiving holiday, pair your Thanksgiving dinner outfit with a statement bag.
I normally gravitate towards my skinny jeans, but these flared jeans have quickly become one of my favorite pairs. The high waist and button front are so flattering and lengthening – not to mention comfortable and cute. Go ahead and eat all the turkey you like! 🙂
For this cute fall outfit, we chose a blouse we’ve had in our closet for the last few years along with ankle boots and a long tan coat. Look two is another perfect dinner outfit where you can quickly swap out the jeans for skinny jeans, wide-leg jeans, joggers, or leggings. I paired this same look with sweater joggers yesterday for a pulled-together casual look.

You can never go wrong with a pair of over-the-knee boots in my option. They slip right over our favorite skinny jeans for a cute holiday look. As we have mentioned above, if you prefer, switch out the skinny jeans for cotton or faux leather leggings, too.
I’m guessing you can sense just how much we love this long cardigan sweater by now? Yes, it really does pair well with everything.
If you’re headed to Thanksgiving dinner and looking for a more loose style of denim, these straight jeans are so soft and comfortable. You could also switch out the heels for ankle boots or even sneakers.

If you have been following the blog for any time now, you know we are a big fan of this J.Crew wool coat. The vibrant color options help elevate just about any Fall or Winter look.
Keeping with the skinny jeans trend, we have fallen in love with this plaid top and heels. It’s a cute Thanksgiving outfit for a small, intimate dinner or looks at home.
Bonus, both the coat and plaid top are now on sale. As for sizing, I definitely recommend sizing down in the coat (I bought an XXSmall) and up slightly in the top (size 4). I love this wool jacket so much I have purchased it in several colors. I can almost guarantee you’ll love it as much as I do. It’s a great coat for anyone currently living with more mild winter temperatures.
If you are dressing up a bit more this Thanksgiving, choose a cute top paired with heels and a black blazer. A few of my favorite styles include a plain white button-down, a plaid blouse or top, a statement sweater, or even a statement tank.

THANKGIVING OUTFIT IDEAS WITH BLACK PANTS & SNEAKERS
Similar to our love for the faux suede pants above, we share a similar love for these faux leather pants. They have an elastic waistband which keeps them a bit more casual, but with more of a trouser feel. They, too, can be styled in endless ways. But, we love them most with plain sweaters and statement jackets like the looks below.
As for sizing, they are available in misses and petite. I purchased a petite 2 for reference.
