PASADENA, Calif. —Michigan Wolverines football is taking on Alabama in the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Rose Bowl. Follow along below for live updates.

Live updates: Michigan vs. Alabama

•Final: Michigan 27, Alabama 20

•Overtime —Jalen Milroe comes up short on 4th and goal from the 3-yard line. Michigan wins and is headed to the national title game.

•Overtime —Blake Corum runs twice and scores on his second run. Michigan leads 27-20.

•4Q, 0:44 —Michigan drives down after failing to pick up first downs all half long and converts with a Roman Wilson touchdown to tie the game. We’re headed to overtime. The Wolverines will stay on offense to begin the period.

•4Q, 4:41 —Will Reichard, Alabama’s kicker, remains perfect from 50-plus yards this season, making a 52-yarder to give the Tide a 20-13 lead.

• 4Q, 10:30 —Michigan kicker James Turner misses a 49-yard field goal. Alabama now takes over on it own 31-yard line.

•4Q, 12:47 —Quinten Johnson forces a Jalen Milroe fumble as he was running out to his left, and Michigan’s Josh Wallace recovers. The Wolverines take over on their own 49-yard line.

•4Q, 13:40 —The Michigan offense goes three-and-out again and has only notched 1 first down the entire half. Tommy Doman’s punt hit an Alabama player but the Tide recovered at its own 32-yard line.

•4Q, 14:30 —Alabama puts together its best drive of the game, marching 55 yards in eight plays, capped off by a 3-yard run by Jase McClellan. The Crimson Tide have its first lead of the game, 17-13.

•End of the third quarter: Michigan 13, Alabama 10. The Crimson Tide has the ball, 2nd and 15 on the Wolverines’ 16-yard line.

•3Q, 3:44 —Michigan goes three-and-out. J.J. McCarthy had Semaj Morgan open on a quick slant on third down, but the ball went through Morgan’s hands. He turned his head late. Tommy Doman continues to struggle punting the ball, a 42-yard kick.

• 3Q, 4:41 —Michigan will take over on its own 11-yard line following another Alabama punt. That was the Tide’s sixth punt of the game.

•3Q, 5:58 —Both teams trade punts. Alabama starts on its own 21-yard line after a game-long 45-yard boot by Tommy Doman.

•Half: Michigan 13, Alabama 10

• 2Q, 0:07 —Will Reichard’s 50-yard field goal is good. Michigan leads 13-10 with seven seconds left in the half.

•2Q, 3:49 — Michigan hits on a double pass to Roman Wilson, before Tyler Morris catches a pass and runs for a 38-yard touchdown. The Wolverines lead 13-7 after a bad snap on the extra point try.

•2Q, 10:50 —Michigan punts it away and Alabama will start on its own 30-yard line. The Wolverines used Alex Orji on a QB keeper on first down, then J.J. McCarthy missed a deep shot to Cornelius Johnson, sailing him on the comeback route, before throwing an incompletion on third down.

•2Q, 11:54 —Alabama punts once again. Michigan takes over on its own 30-yard line after the Semaj Morgan fair catch. Michael Barrett and Kris Jenkins each had a sack on the play to back Alabama up to 3rd and 24, before Jalen Milroe ran and came up well short of the first-down marker.

•2Q, 14:11 —Michigan connects on a third-down pass to Semaj Morgan, but he’s stopped behind the first-down marker. Tommy Doman punts and Alabama starts on its own 24-yard line.

• End of the first quarter: Michigan 7, Alabama 7. The Wolverines have 3rd and 9 on their own 31-yard line, after picking up a first down with Kalel Mullings that was called back by an unnecessary roughness call on Max Bredeson.

•1Q, 4:23 —Michigan converts a 4th and 1 with Blake Corum up the middle and scores to tie the game at 7-7. The possession was capped off by an 8-yard touchdown pass from J.J. McCarthy to Blake Corum. The drive went 75 yards in 10 plays and was highlighted by a 21-yard run from Corum earlier in the possession.

•1Q, 9:41 —Alabama running back Jase McClellan dashes 34 yards for a touchdown over the right side. Michigan graduate nickel back Mike Sainristil missed a tackle in the open field. Alabama goes up 7-0.

•1Q, 10:56 — The Michigan defense got two sacks to force a three-and-out —one by Braiden McGregor and one by Josaiah Stewart —but Semaj Morgan muffed the punt, recovered by Alabama. The Crimson Tide takes over at the U-M 44-yard line.

• 1Q, 13:56 —After a quick three-and-out and a punt, Alabama starts on its own 37-yard line.

•1Q, 14:53 —On the first play of the game, Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy threw an errant pass along the sideline that was intercepted by safety Caleb Downs. After review, the interception was overturned. Downs was out of bounds before the interception and didn’t reestablish himself in the field of play. Second and 10 for Michigan.

•Alabama has won the toss and chosen to defer its choice to the second half. Michigan will receive.
