Has anyone else out grown their maternity clothes? my shirts don't cover my belly anymore and my underwear and pants are leaving marks now. I have 4 weeks left and I don't know what to do. I refuse to buy more, plus the jeans will be too big everywhere else but my belly. I only have like 4 maternity dresses, but I have a feeling I'll just live in these.
ahhhhh!

yeah all my sweat pants and maternity tanks aren’t fitting any more. I’m going to say eff it and get some long flowy loose dresses from the thrift store and layer up. ♀️ hopefully those will be great for postpartum in spring and summer too.

I outgrew mine at 32 weeks- I went ahead and just bought more maternity jeans for work and big and tall xl shirts to wear around the house like nightgowns I do have the issues that my jeans are big everywhere but my belly, but after a day of work my legs are so swollen that they fit just right so I’ll take that as a win

I feel like I wear the same thing every week too, but can’t justify buying more. I’ve switched over to leggings and long sweaters from Shein. Jeans aren’t cutting it anymore. I caved a bought new underwear for the second time now $3 Walmart special, but they are so much comfier!!

Same I’ve resorted to rolling the waist bands of my maternity leggings and jeans down and then putting my belly band on to keep them in place. Also did some shopping in my husband’s closet . Only three more weeks for me so I refuse to buy more clothes. I would say though to buy maternity underwear that crisscross under your bump bc you can still use them postpartum and they’re comfy.

@cuppycakes,
I have the underbelly criss cross underwear and they’re still great at 37 weeks. I have underbelly criss cross maternity leggings too that still fit perfectly. Next baby, I’m not even going to waste my money on over-the-bump pants. I can’t wear those anymore.

I’m actually so frustrated about this. I spent over $100 on a nice dress that I thought for sure would fit to the end since I sized up but no it’s so tight on top and by my belly it’s ridiculous ♀️ hopefully it’ll be good PP since it’s button down

I've sworn off jeans lol, they were a little snug when I wore them a few weeks ago, now when I have somewhere to go, I'm putting on a maternity dress leg warmers and high boots which is perfectly acceptable for winter
I think it's comfier to avoid pants anyway lol
fortunately I WFH so as long as my top half is decent for video calls, no one knows I'm pulling the Winnie the pooh with my belly hanging out bc my shirts no longer reach my pants lol
you could get some cheap undies for comfort and use them post partum too, I got these in my pre pregnancy size and they're still fitting great... plenty of room but majorly granny panty but at this point I don't care haha

@dogmombecominghumanmom,
this is me with the dresses and high boots! I didn’t actually buy maternity dresses though - I’ve just been wearing my loose/stretchy swing & tshirt dresses and it’s worked out ok. I can’t stand pants at all anymore either. Starting next week I will be working remote until baby comes, so I’m looking forward to not having to be completely put together every day. Haha.

@mgtbaby2023,
I bought 3 maternity dresses early early on so it was justified imo, I'm anti maternity clothes bc of the short term usage
I couldn't imagine still going to the office. my "uniform" is comfy pants on the daily haha

@dogmombecominghumanmom,
I hear you! I bought two pairs of maternity pants a while back because of going to the office. But tbh I hated them and have rarely worn them.
I am now very happily on the comfy pants only train! Haha.

My shirts/ tanks are turning into crop tops, and my husband has been pulling his shirts up in solidarity because I really don’t want to buy more clothes so late lol. I definitely understand how you feel

Meee! I wish it was summer, I have so many more summer outfits that would be fitting! I have one stretchy winter dress for special occasions. And a pair of leggings. My maternity jeans are uncomfortable but still fit.. I’m living in sweat pants and husbands tees (whcih are getting too tight )
