Shout out to Elishiah Ann for a wonderful hair trim and wash/massage that left my hair shaped and healthier, and me relaxed. She assessed my hair, recommended ways to keep my hair healthy, and after consulting, we decided on the type of trim. She is focused and detail-oriented and I felt well taken cared of.It's a well-run salon in a nice neighborhood, modern decor. Lots of parking, comfortable waiting area, open design, plenty of space between stations, comfortable washing areas, and a warm, positive ambiance all around.From the moment I was greeted warmly by Lily to when I left, I knew I would be a regular client!Highly recommended!!!

This place sucks. I've gone twice one time the chick did a good job but insulted my hair the entire time she was doing my hair the second time I got a chick with a face tat (yay) that was horrible at her job and just clueless in general and also had an attitude. She was trying to color my hair when it wouldn't take and just ruined it I was left with having to pay a lot of money for no change to my hair other than it was super damaged than before. This place is so low rent.

My sister is a very talented colorist and stylist in Southern California so having my hair look fabulous is of utmost importance to me. I needed a new salon/hair stylist and contacted Textures Salon by Bryan Hoshell. I engaged in correspondence by email and over the phone and scheduled an appointment for Friday, April 14th at 3:15. We discussed my needs in detail and I told them I had an event to attend 2 days later. On the day of my appointment at 2:48 pm as I was walking out the door, I received a voice mail message from Textures Salon stating my stylist had been overbooked and my 3:15 appointment had been cancelled. They didn't know this prior to 2:48 pm? My entire day was scheduled around this appointment! As it turns out the stylist was running an hour behind with the person in her chair. I volunteered to arrive an hour later, but was told the salon closed at 6:00 pm. I told them we could reschedule but it had to be for the next day as I had an event on Sunday. They said the stylist could "squeeze" me in between appointments the next day. My hair is long. It needed color and highlights, a cut and style. It takes 2.5-3 hours. Unless the time slot was that long, I wasn't going to be squeezed in. I want to walk out feeling like a million bucks, not like I received a rushed service. That isn't even the point. The point is I am a new client. They called 25 minutes before my scheduled appointment and CANCELLED. Who does that? Why wouldn't the stylist stay an extra hour and keep her appointment with me? That is what MOST stylists in the same situation would have done. Textures, no thank you. I won't be using your establishment. And neither will my Mom or the other 6 referrals I would have sent you.
